It's finally finished :D I realised that having a background at this stage would more than likely detract from the picture because I didn't draw one originally and that basically I just wanted to finish it :) Call me lazy if you will but I'm happy with the result.

I was originally going to paint each cherry blossom on the sash individually but I'll let you all have a guess at the method I chose in the end :P

So ~xiaoness I'm not even sure if you still frequent DA but this was meant to be your Kiriban picture for about 6 months ago. Sorry it took so long!!!

Many thanks to and for their help. It wouldn't have happened without you two!

Oh and of course ~RoyaltyFreeStock was used for a texture. It was originally submitted by *missyC but nonetheless thanks to =guava for setting the service up ^^;

:hug: Thanks Milly ^_^ I'm so glad you think it looks great. The next one will be more fun, and it has a background already drawn into it :P So it should be a lot easier to do a background for the next one.

Nice one, mate. Well done on the sash, did you use the pattern stamp?

My main suggestion would be to use a gradient on the background (darker colour on the bottom)

I didn't use a stamp I cut and pasted the same flower just rotated once or twice all over the sash over the branches. Next time I'll probably paint each one, but doing that with a mouse is a PAIN :P

True, true. Doing ANYTHING with a mouse is a pain. That's why I was using markers before I had my tablet =p
